Manna – April 10

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” – John 3:6

There is a clear distinction between what is produced by human nature and what comes from the Spirit of God. The Bible encourages us to recognize that true spiritual life cannot come from our own efforts, good intentions, or physical birth—it must come from being spiritually reborn through faith in Christ. While the flesh operates on self-centered desires and limited understanding, the Spirit brings new life, transformation, and a desire to please God. Applying this means living not according to our old habits or instincts, but allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts, decisions, and actions. It also challenges us to examine what drives our choices—whether we are leaning on human strength or walking in the new life God gives through His Spirit.
