“But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18
There is a special transformation that takes place in believers as they grow in the Lord Jesus Christ. Unlike Moses, who had to veil his face after encountering Jehovah’s glory (Exodus 34:29-35), we now have an unveiled view of God’s glory through Jesus. As we behold Him, we are being changed into His likeness, becoming more like Him step by step, through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Our spiritual growth is a continuous process, by focusing on Jesus, studying His Word, and allowing the Spirit to work in us, we are gradually transformed to reflect His character. This change does not happen overnight, but as we walk with God, we grow in holiness, love, and righteousness. The more we seek Him, the more His image is revealed in us.
