Manna – March 23

“Do not envy the man of violence; choose none of his ways. For the perverse is an abomination to Jehovah, but his friendship is with the upright.” – Proverbs 3:31-32

We should never envy others or follow those who use violence and corruption to gain power or success. While the world admires strength and aggression, the Lord sees perverse and wicked behavior as detestable. Instead, He offers His friendship, guidance, and blessing to those who live righteously.

It is easy to be tempted by the ways of the world — whether through ruthless ambition, dishonesty, or seeking power at any cost. But God calls us to a different path, one of integrity and righteousness. True success comes from walking with Him, not from adopting the ways of the wicked. Choosing the Creator’s ways may not always bring immediate rewards, but it leads to eternal security and His favor.
