Manna – March 28

“These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.” — Deuteronomy 6:6-7

The Lord commanded the Israelites to keep His words close to their hearts and to diligently teach them to their children. The command shows us the importance of integrating God’s teachings into everyday life — whether at home, on the go, or in daily routines. The Lord’s words should be central to every aspect of life, not just something that is talked about occasionally.

In this we can see the importance of making God’s Word the Bible a consistent part of our lives. It is not just about teaching Scripture to others, but also living it out daily. We must be an ideal model of faith and share God’s teachings in every moment — at home, at work, and in casual conversations. This is an encouragement to make God’s truth not only a mental exercise but also a way of living, teaching it to the next generation by both word and example.
